Value for money
Super friendly and welcoming young staff member at the check in! Good location and a quiet room, if you just kept the window closed. The fridge and the kettle in the room were a nice surprise. Good value for the money.
A safety box in the room would be nice, if one would stay here for several nights.

What was the highlight of Hotel Jokipuisto
It works as basis for festivals/longer trips
I stayed here to attend a festival nearby and it served its purpose. The room was clean and large enough and the staff was very welcoming and friendly.
This is basically a motel on the motorway and not in the best location if you do not have a car. I got a room on the ground floor facing the yard, which was obviously a bit noisy, but the staff apologized for that and explained that they were fully booked (I knew that, as we were all there for a festival). With ear plugs, I could still sleep ok. The breakfast buffet was quite basic and meat-oriented. There were vegan products on the first day, but once they ran out, they were never replaced, which was a pity.

Great staff, comfortable stay, good location
Very kind and friendly staff! Breakfast was good. There were options for allergics too. ️ The beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The location is excellent if you come to Kotka by car. Nearby, there is also a very beautiful urban city park, if you want to take a short walk from the hotel.
Our room was on the bottom floor right next to a terrace. At summer, there was some noise in the evening. We couldn't keep the window or curtains open because our view was right to the terrace where people were drinking/smoking. We would ask for a different room next time.
